Most of the galleries are “straight” shots using either my iPhone 5 camera, which does a decent job, or taken with a simple Canon PowerShot.  But I can’t help playing a little, so some photos are altered a bit with the help of Pixelmator.  The application is similar to Photoshop but available only on Macs. My alterations are done on my MacBook Air.  The Green Screen Fun gallery is where you will find altered state photos.

Here is an example where I used photo of myself shot against a green screen.  With this technique it is then easy to get a clean outline to merge with a background image.  This shot was to spoof “Breaking Bad”  The picture of me with my “Walt” hat and bag of crystal (honest, its sugar) was shot against a green screen then cut and placed against an old photo taken in Tucson to give it an authenic southwest Breaking Bad background.
